I think apple is one of the most successful branding brand in the world, as everyone knows apple sells electronic device. Some representative products such as Iphone, Mac, Ipod...... When we think of apple, we think at new generation, young, imaginative. And those are the thing that apple show us through it product. Apple’s logo changes over times, but it always keep the “apple” . Now day, the apple logo is a apple shape with a bitten part. Also, today’s apple logo has only color white and black which create a contrast. It clearly shows the sprit of apple, simple and modern. The logo is easy to remember and match apple’s personality. When people see this, everyone knows this is the logo of apple inc. Its simple but different, every line and angle is create after long time designing. I think this logo is very successful.
Burger King is one of most famous international fast food restaurant in the world,the original logo was made in 1969 until it replaced by the new logo in 1999. The new logo uses 3 colors: the butter color , ketchup red and blue. It give people a warm and tasty feel. And as I research, the meaning of this logo is :The new Burger King, Blue Swirl logo tilts the bun halves and the font on an axis, wraps the burger with a blue swirl, and has a more circular appearance.
I think this is a good logo and shows the brand name on it, which let people see the name of brand every time when they see the logo. But I think if you erase the brand name from the logo, it can be a logo for any store. You can not tell the yellow part is bun and the blue part is swirl indeed. It can be a candy store or a express delivery company.
Holt Renfrew is a store that sells luxuries for women and men, it include most of luxury brands from all over the world. It has a circle shape logo and with simple HR on it. And there also is 1837 under it, which is the year that Hr created. I think this logo is unsuccessful, HR as the most famous Canadian luxuries store, it keep the purple background symbolized luxury is good, but it doesn't contrasting eyes at all. And it is not easy to remember at all, it has too many argument in one logo. When you first look at this logo, you may focus on the circle that out side of the big purple circle, rather than the word HR. And I also do not like the font it looks so thin.

This pencil case mainly sell to everyone that loves sketch and need a tool to collect their sketch pencils. This pencil case is not very cheap compare to normal pencil case because of the outside of it is made of leather. Therefore, The mainly age range of customer might be 16 - 48. Just for people that loves sketches and want a different and a little luxurious pencil case. However, the user must be at least over 6 years old. This is a professional pencil case for art student, but also can be use as a pencil case for daily school students.
2 Personality: Develop a personality for your product as if it were a person. Describe in a paragraph what your product is like
My brand might be a woman around 20, with fine earring and necklace. It is a woman that focus on detail, love to carry a sketch book and draw down everything beautiful she saw from life. She do not wear anything that has big logo on it, and she can make people feel that she is not cheap from inside. A white cotton long dress and a sketch book cover with leather. When you look at her, you can always see sparkles from her eyes, that’s the world inside of her, full with her dreams and imaginations.

Project Reflection /25 Marks
I think the most successful part is the logo. I worked really hard on the logo and tried lots of ways of showing it. The least successful part might be the infomercial, I am really bad at making videos but I think I tried my best. And I keep working on some little thing everyday, so I finished the summative even before the due day and I think I manage the time very well. If I can change something about my work, I would like to change about the infomercial, I really do not like it that much... All in all, I think I can earn around 80 in the project, because I think that is the mark all my work can worth.
